Paysafe Teams Up with Strive Gaming to Bolster Arizona Sports Betting

It appears that one of the largest specialized payment processing companies is making its way into the Arizona sports betting market.

That’s because the folks at Paysafe, which specializes in iGaming online payments, are teaming with player account management company, Strive Gaming, beginning with the pair's collaboration with Golden Nugget in Arizona and the Canadian province of Ontario.

They plan to integrate Paysafe’s payments technology into Strive Gaming’s PAM system, allowing Golden Nugget to gain access to a swath of payment and payout methods via a single interface, according to a news release.

Arizona has been one of the thriving sports betting states since launching last September.

It had nearly $500 million ($491.7 million) in handle for February, the last month data is available from the state. The record is $563.7 million wagered in January.

A New Day for iGaming Payments Processing

The partnership between Paysafe and Strive allows Golden Nugget’s customers in Arizona and beyond to deposit funds with their debit or credit cards and not miss a beat.

That’s the takeaway from Zak Cutler, Paysafe’s CEO of North America iGaming, in a company press release about the partnership.

“We’re proud to support Strive Gaming’s core mission of bringing operators closer to their customers through our leading payment solutions,” Cutler said in the release. “We look forward to evolving our partnership with Strive Gaming to support North American iGaming operators’ growth in new and existing markets.”

Paysafe also partnered with Bally Bet in Arizona in February.

‘Makes So Much Sense for Our Customers’

For Strive Gaming CEO Max Meltzer, the company’s partnership with Paysafe represents a chance to incorporate the latter’s technical prowess to ensure players in Arizona have access to the fullest range of payment options possible. Strive will use Paysafe’s reporting and analytics tools to ensure player security and safety.

The result of that cooperation is a product that works seamlessly for players and operators alike, Meltzer said, making the whole process easier for everyone involved.

“Strive Gaming has become a leading platform in the U.S. and Canada quickly because of our scalable technology, enabling speed to market and efficiencies for leading operators. Integrations and partnerships at the deepest levels, and quickly achieved, are a hallmark of our tech stack with no technical debt,” Meltzer said in the release. “Integrating and collaborating with Paysafe makes so much sense for our customers, and we are pleased to be working with Paysafe now and over the long-term.”
