Casino Del Sol, Vahi Taaʼam will open to the public on Nov. 15, 2026, bringing a new retail sportsbook to Tucson. The property sits at 1055 W. Grant Road near Interstate 10 and is the tribe's third gaming property. The opening adds another retail wagering option to Arizona sports betting, which launched in September 2021.
The name means "Three Suns" in Yoeme, the Pascua Yaqui language. The casino was built on Old Pascua Community land, and the Arizona Daily Star describes it as the first casino built within Tucson city limits. It joins the list of Arizona casinos that tribes operate across the state.
SolSports Sportsbook Comes to the New Casino
According to Casino Del Sol, SolSports at Vahi Taaʼam will offer wagering on all major sports. The Arizona Daily Star reports that bet types include parlays, teasers, futures, player props, in-play bets and round robins.
SolSports is already in use at the tribe's original Casino Del Sol on Valencia Road, where it launched in November 2021. The Tucson opening adds a new location to the list of Arizona retail sportsbooks that accept in-person wagers. The casino's announcement does not list sportsbook hours.

The gaming floor covers 52,252 square feet. It has 928 slot machines, including 60 high-limit machines, and 24 table games. The floor also includes a High Limit Lounge and seven bar-top gaming stations at the Center Bar.
KVOA reported that marketing director Jessica Savare said poker and bingo will not be offered on the gaming floor.
Dining and Jobs
Dining includes OP Grill and Sewa Market, which houses UME, Streetscape and Abuelitas Taqueria. The casino expects to employ about 500 people, and the Club Sol loyalty program will be active from day one.
