Arizona sports betting handle reached $599,487,020.10 in July 2026, according to newly released figures from the Arizona Department of Gaming. That total represents a 29.3 percent increase compared to July 2025.

Total Wagering Handle and Payouts

The report highlights that mobile sportsbooks accounted for nearly all of the action, taking in $598,298,787.35 of the total handle, while retail sportsbooks at Arizona's tribal casinos added $1,188,232.75. Retail and mobile operators combined paid out $532,590,102.90 in winnings to players. After payouts and the federal excise tax, operators reported $65,655,266.26 in adjusted gross event wagering receipts before the allowable free bet deduction.

Free Bets and Privilege Fees

Operators then deducted $17,049,471.25 in allowable free bets and promotional credits, leaving $48,605,795.01 subject to privilege fees. Retail operators pay an 8 percent privilege fee and mobile operators pay 10 percent, and combined they generated $4,856,549.63 for the state in July.

Fantasy Sports Contest Revenue

The ADG also released July figures for fantasy sports contests. Arizona players paid $7,971,835.81 in entry fees, which produced $1,481,154.17 in adjusted revenue and $74,057.69 in privilege fees at the 5 percent rate. 

PrizePicks led all fantasy sports operators, collecting $4,355,673.19 in entry fees and $978,015.91 in adjusted revenue for the month. DraftKings and Underdog Fantasy Sports followed, with $283,399.68 and $155,120.30 in adjusted revenue respectively. For fiscal year 2027 through July, event wagering and fantasy sports combined have generated approximately $8.1 million in privilege fees, with about $7.9 million coming from event wagering and $160,918 from fantasy sports.

Which Operators Led the Market

FanDuel Sportsbook Arizona led all operators with $183,449,535.42 in combined retail and mobile wagers. DraftKings followed with $176,467,001.58, while Fanatics Sportsbook took in $68,769,270.27.

Since the launch of legal Arizona betting apps in 2021, bettors have wagered approximately $36.6 billion, generating about $198.9 million in privilege fees for the state. The ADG notes that all figures are self-reported by operators and are subject to adjustment following audit and review.
