Which NFL Fanbases Pay Attention To Cardinals The Most?
Fact Checked by Michael Peters

The Arizona Cardinals have drawn the eye of a number of NFL fanbases over the years, as well as Arizona sports betting sites, thanks in large part to the franchise’s three NFC West titles between 2008 and 2015.

Unsurprisingly, the fanbases across the 32-team league that pay the most attention to the Cardinals reside in the team’s division, showing that regional rivalries are alive and well in the NFL.

BetArizona.com utilized Google Trends to determine the metros that have searched the Arizona Cardinals the most over the course of 12 months (Aug. 2022 to Aug. 2023). Only metros with an NFL team were included in the research, which allowed us to determine which fanbases are paying the most attention to Arizona Cardinals.

Cardinals Draw Ire Of NFC West Rivals

It seems the franchise that’s made the playoffs five times in 35 seasons in the Valley has made quite an impact on their westerly rivals.

Two NFC West franchises, in the Los Angeles Rams (19 search interest score) and the Seattle Seahawks (10 score), had the most interest in the Cardinals on social media.

Such an outcome is to be expected when your team of choice plays the Cardinals twice a year, though the rest of the top five is a bit more of a surprise.

You can use Arizona sportsbook promo codes to get Seattle at +195 odds to win the NFC West. San Francisco is the favorite at -165, while the Rams are +900. The Cardinals are last at +2500.

Given the Cardinals decent run of success against the Rams (40-48-2, .456) and Seahawks (22-25-1, .469), it’s of little surprise fans in Los Angeles and Seattle would want to keep an eye on the Cardinals.

A trio of AFC West franchises in Kansas City and Las Vegas (8 search interest score each) and Denver (7 score) rounded out the top five.

Those three AFC West franchises have played the Cardinals a combined 37 times over the years, with Arizona going 9-26-1 against that trio.

BetMGM Arizona lists Kansas City as the Super Bowl favorite at +600.
