Moreno, Carroll and Perdomo Win 2026 Gold Gloves
Moreno won his second Gold Glove, three years after his first in 2023, and he did it in a season when he also claimed the National League batting title. His .311 average edged Philadelphia's Luis Arraez by one point, making him the first Diamondbacks player to win a batting crown. He is also only the second catcher, after Joe Mauer, to win a batting title and a Gold Glove in the same season. Moreno led NL catchers with 14 defensive runs saved.
Carroll took home his first Gold Glove in right field after leading MLB right fielders with 10 outs above average and 351 putouts. Perdomo won at shortstop in his first nomination, tying for fifth among MLB shortstops with 16 outs above average and leading the majors with 157 games played at the position.

Arizona finished 86-76, third in the NL West and 14 games behind the Dodgers. The latest Diamondbacks odds at DraftKings list Arizona at +6500 to win the 2027 World Series, which implies about a 1.5% chance.
