There’s no doubt it’s championship or bust for the Phoenix Suns in 2023, with the offseason trade for three-time All-Star Bradley Beal being the latest cog in the team’s offensive machine. With the addition of the 30-year-old guard, the Suns now have a three-pronged starting five led by former MVP Kevin Durant and 2022 All-NBA first team member Devin Booker.
That on court talent hasn’t translated into postseason or Arizona sports betting success for Phoenix of late, however, with the Suns reeling after consecutive second round defeats at the hands of Dallas and Denver. With NBA 2K24 now out, BetArizona.com utilized 2Kratings.com to see which teams have the most start power, with players of 85+ overall.

Where Suns Rank Leaguewide
The only thing topping the Suns’ preseason NBA title futures is the team’s ranking when it comes to NBA 2K24 star power. That’s because the Suns — who are listed at +650 to win their first title on BetMGM Arizona — are tied atop the NBA, with three players ranked 85 or above.
Leaguewide, Phoenix ranks in a tie for first with five other teams — Boston, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Philadelphia and Golden State. The Frank Vogel-coached team will look to put that star power to good use, beginning with Phoenix’s regular season opener against the Warriors in San Francisco on Oct. 24. Until then, Phoenix can at least lay claim to having one of the most talent-laden rosters in the 30-team league, thanks to having a trio of MVP contenders in its starting five.
