Suns Are Arizona Sports Betting Title Favorites Entering Clash with Golden State
Fact Checked by Michael Peters

The Phoenix Suns have a shot at matching the franchise’s record for regular season wins along the banks of the San Francisco Bay on Wednesday night.

That’s when the 61-14 Suns face off against 48-28 Golden State in a game that pits two Arizona sports betting favorites.

The Warriors have gotten the better of Monty Williams’ bunch twice this season, beating the Suns, 118-98 and 116-107, after Phoenix won the first game between the two, 104-96.

With a win Wednesday, the Suns would match the single-season franchise wins record, set in 1993 and matched in 2005.

Phoenix and Golden State tip off at 7 p.m. Arizona time Wednesday on ESPN.

Here’s a rundown of what Arizona sports betting apps expect.

Suns a Moderate Favorite Over Warriors

The NBA betting lines for Wednesday’s Suns-Warriors game have Phoenix as a slight favorite despite being on the road.

The thinnest betting line is Suns -4 by the oddsmakers at DraftKings Sportsbook Arizona, who also give the Suns -190 moneyline odds.

BetMGM Arizona and Caesars Sportsbook Arizona have the Suns at -4.5, with a -190 moneyline.

FanDuel Sportsbook Arizona gives the Suns the largest spread, placing Phoenix at -5 with a -200 moneyline.

Suns NBA Title Favorites Across the Board

The Suns seem to have the inside track toward the franchise’s first NBA Championship in 2022, a year after falling to Milwaukee 4-2 in the title series.

Phoenix is listed as the No. 1 title contender on all four of the major Arizona sports betting sites, with odds ranging from +290 (DraftKings Sportsbook Arizona) to +300 (BetMGM Arizona, Caesars Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook Arizona).

Their opponents on Wednesday night are the No. 2 championship contender on DraftKings Sportsbook’s NBA title board with +450 odds of hoisting the franchise’s seventh league trophy.

Whether the Suns will capture their 62nd victory and a season split against the Warriors will be determined Wednesday.

What seems for sure, at least at the moment, is the clash will pit two of the NBA’s top title contenders against one another, giving fans plenty of entertainment as the league rapidly approaches the postseason.
