Marquise Brown Free Agency Destination; Odds for Cardinals Free Agent WR
Fact Checked by Michael Peters

One of the NFL’s biggest deep threats is about to hit unrestricted free agency for the first time, as current Arizona wideout Marquise Brown prepares to enter the market April 1.

Brown is coming off a down season by his standards, with 574 yards on 51 receptions with four touchdowns and an approximate value of six but has 3,644 yards across 72 NFL games with Baltimore and the Cardinals between 2019 and 2023.

In two seasons with Arizona, Brown has averaged 641.5 yards per year, which is far below where he was in Baltimore, where he had a 1,000-yard season in 2021 while averaging 787 receiving yards per game. In anticipation of a big season of Arizona sports betting on the NFL, BetArizona.com broke down some hypothetical odds on Brown’s next NFL team.

Baltimore Reunion in Brown’s Future?

The top team on our odds board to land Brown’s services is the team that drafted the sixth-year veteran. The Ravens are likely looking for a deep threat to help take the next step in the postseason, and Brown could be looking to go back to the schemes that allowed him to thrive between 2019 and 2021. The Ravens are our No. 1 destination at +350, ranking well ahead of Tennessee (+600) and the New York Jets (+700) in our Brown sweepstakes.

Of the six teams mentioned above, the Ravens and Chiefs are most likely to get the farthest in the year ahead, with Baltimore winning three division titles since 2018 while Kansas City just became the first franchise since New England in 2004-05 to repeat as champions. bet365 Arizona lists San Francisco as the Super Bowl favorite at +500, followed by the Chiefs at +650 and the Ravens at +900.

The Jets, Bears and Saints all missed out on the postseason in 2023 but decided to bring back their head coaches, meaning they could be in the market to make a splash during the NFL’s free agency window.

One way or another, the veteran will look to turn the page on a dreary two-year run in Arizona. Things don’t figure to get better for the Cardinals this season, as Betway Arizona lists the Cardinals as +8000 to win the Super Bowl.
