Corbin Carroll and Eduardo Rodriguez are heading to Philadelphia for the 2026 All-Star Game, but the honor arrives in the middle of one of the roughest stretches of Arizona's season. The Diamondbacks have stumbled through a brutal midseason slide, one that's hit bettors as hard as it's hit the standings, and left Arizona betting apps reevaluating the Diamondbacks' postseason chances by the day.

Diamondbacks Earn Recognition Despite the Grind

Carroll picked up his third All-Star selection in four full big league seasons, voted in by players after hitting .268/.357/.511 with 13 home runs and an MLB-leading 10 triples. Rodriguez earned his first career All-Star nod in his 11th season, entering the break fourth among qualified NL starters with a 2.21 ERA and just one or zero earned runs allowed in 11 of his 17 starts. Both will represent Arizona at Citizens Bank Park on July 14.

The Midseason Slump Bettors Can't Escape

Arizona has climbed to 46-47, tied with San Diego for second in the NL West but sitting 14.5 games behind the division-leading Dodgers, and roughly four games back of the final NL Wild Card position. The slide has been rough enough that Arizona betting apps have been recalibrating the Diamondbacks' postseason odds by the day.

Diamondbacks Futures Odds Outlook

That combination of star power and inconsistency shows up in Arizona's futures. The Arizona Diamondbacks odds to win the World Series sit at +15000, with the NL Pennant at +6000 and the division title at +5000. Arizona's playoff odds have settled at +400, while the regular-season win total sits at 79.5. None of those numbers have moved in Arizona's favor heading into the All-Star break.

Reinforcements Could Be Coming

Arizona's stretch run could get a lift from a wave of returning talent. Jordan Lawlar (hamstring) and Michael Soroka (glute) are both eyeing late July or early August comebacks, while Ryne Nelson, Corbin Burnes and closer Justin Martinez, each working back from major injuries, are targeting late August or September. None of it fixes the slide overnight, but it's the depth Arizona will need for a wild-card push.
