After consecutive second-half collapses against Washington and the New York Giants, Sunday provided a monumental sense of relief for fans of the Arizona Cardinals.
Despite entering Sunday’s game against the 2-0 Cowboys as an 11.5-point Arizona sports betting underdog, the Cardinals punched the visitors in the mouth early and often — building a 21-10 halftime lead and holding on from there.

Victory Among Biggest Recent NFL Surprises
The Cardinals’ win as an 11.5-point underdog was the franchise’s biggest upset victory since they took down the Packers as a 13.5-point dog during Week 13 of the 2018 NFL season.
Leaguewide, Arizona’s victory ranked slightly behind the biggest upset victories since 2018, with the Jets and Dolphins victories (over the Rams and New England Patriots, respectively) ranking atop the league leaderboard. New York was able to beat Los Angeles, 23-20, in Week 15 of the 2020 NFL season, while Miami shocked New England, 27-24 in Week 17 of the 2019 NFL season.
