Cardinals See Super Bowl Odds on Arizona Betting Apps Dive After MNF Loss

The first Arizona Cardinals Monday Night Football contest since new Arizona sports betting apps launched did a number on the home team’s Super Bowl odds.

That’s because the Cardinals lost to the Los Angeles Rams 30-23, falling to 3-3 at home and 10-3 for the year — knocking Arizona to the No. 3 seed in the NFC.

The Cardinals have five days to shake off their first loss in almost a month, as they head to the Motor City to play the 1-11-1 Detroit Lions at 11 a.m. Arizona time Sunday on FOX.

Cardinals Sizable Road Favorites Over Lions

Arizona sportsbooks aren’t expecting Kyler Murray and company to suffer much of a hangover in Detroit, with Arizona listed as a double-digit favorite.

At BetMGM Arizona, the Cardinals are at -13.5 (-110).

Meanwhile, DraftKings Sportsbook Arizona has the Cardinals listed at -14 (-110), and FanDuel Sportsbook Arizona has Arizona at -13.5 (-114).

For those looking to make a moneyline wager, BetMGM Arizona has the Cardinals at -833, while DraftKings Sportsbook Arizona has them at -800, and FanDuel Sportsbook Arizona has the visitors at -820.

All three have the over/under at 47.5 (-110) total points.

Arizona’s Super Bowl Odds Take a Hit

Monday night’s loss to the Rams dented Arizona’s Super Bowl betting odds.

Four sportsbooks — DraftKings Sportsbook Arizona, FanDuel Sportsbook Arizona, TwinSpires Sportsbook, and Unibet Arizona — have the Cardinals at +1000 to win Super Bowl LVI.

Both BetMGM Arizona and Caesars Sportsbook Arizona have the Cardinals at +900, ranking fifth overall in the NFL.

Before Monday’s loss, FanDuel Sportsbook Arizona listed the Cardinals among its top three Super Bowl favorites at +750.

Stacking up the Rest of the Schedule

The Cardinals close out the regular season with games against Indianapolis and Seattle at home, sandwiched between a road game against Dallas. Both the Colts (7-6) and Cowboys (9-4) have winning records. The Seahawks are 5-8.

Arizona’s game against Indianapolis takes place on Christmas Day at 6:15 p.m. Arizona time on the NFL Network.

After losing as a 3.5-point favorite Monday night, the Cardinals are 9-4-0 against the spread this season.
