Fact Checked by Michael Peters

One of the busiest months for sports betting in Arizona is upon us, with March Madness tipping off Tuesday night.

From the time the “First Four” tips off in Dayton, Ohio, to the final buzzer of the Final Four in New Orleans on April 4, billions will be wagered on the 68 teams in this year’s NCAA men’s basketball tournament field.

This year also marks the inaugural men’s and women’s tournaments since Arizona betting apps launched, giving basketball bettors in the state reason to rejoice.

The Arizona Wildcats are the lone team to qualify from the state in either tournament, and the men face solid odds of making a championship run in 2022.

Off the court, there will be a plethora of promotions offered to Arizona customers. Below is a rundown of some of the promotions available on Arizona sports betting sites just in time for March Madness.

Bonus Bets Expire in 7 Days. One New Customer Offer Only. Must be 21+ to participate & present in AZ. Gambling problem? Call 1-800-NEXT-STEP. Visit BetMGM.com for Terms & Conditions. US promotional offers not available in NY, NV, or Puerto Rico.

BetMGM Arizona

BetMGM Arizona is kicking off March Madness by giving customers a shot at winning $10 million.

The “$10 Million Perfect Bracket Challenge” allows users who have a registered BetMGM account to sign up on the operator’s mobile app.

From there, users can submit their free bracket. Anyone who completes a flawless entry wins $10 million, while first place earns $100,000.

All entries must be submitted by 9:59 a.m. Arizona time Thursday to qualify.

The odds of completing a perfect bracket are one in 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 — meaning you have a better shot of being struck by lightning than winning the top prize.

“March is the one of the greatest times of the year for sports fans, and it’s a huge moment for us at BetMGM to reach more customers than ever before,” BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said in a company news release. “Our team created fun and interactive content to enhance the tournament experience for our players online and in-person regardless of whether or not their bracket has busted.”

BetMGM is also offering a parlay boost token every day of March Madness. For new customers there is a $1,000 risk-free bet for March Madness.

Those feeling lucky can enter by visiting the “Promotions” tab on BetMGM’s mobile application.
