When it comes to curb appeal, it’s hard to beat a stadium settled amongst the heart of the Rocky Mountains, with Boulder’s Folsom Field ranking atop the Big 12 Instagram rankings for 2025 thanks to the stadium’s bucolic setting and picture perfect gameday atmosphere. Throw in the fact that Folsom Field has recently completed a series of stadium-wide renovations - including a $156 million redevelopment of the stadium’s north endzone and a new video board on the south side - and you have a decent snapshot of why CU’s home abode scored the most points, Instagram-wise, in the Big 12, finishing the period in question with 172 points, six ahead of Cincinnati’s Nippert Stadium.
The Queen City home field of the Bearcats, like Folsom, has seen its fair share of renovations in recent years, including an expansion to 40,000 seats in 2015 complete with premium seating, upgraded concessions and concourses, helping Cincinnati seat all 10 of the program’s highest football games, attendance wise, between that season and 2022.
Other top notch stadiums in the Big 12 included BYU’s Lavell Edwards Stadium, which nestles more than 62,000 people along the foothills of the Wasatch, allowing fans to snap the perfect photos across a litany of fall Saturdays in Proo, while Arizona State’s Mountain America Stadium finished fourth overall in the 16-team conference. The Tempe mainstay of college football has been around since 1958, growing from its original capacity of 30,450 to a current limit of 53,599, while also hosting Super Bowl XXX when the Dallas Cowboys beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, 27-17, back in 1996, giving it plenty of Instagram credentials to build around.
When it comes to Big 12 futures, the top contender among the top Instagram-worthy stadium crowd is ASU, which is currently co-listed with Kansas State as the preseason betting favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook in the conference, at +550.
From there, keep an eye on teams like Utah (+600), Texas Tech (+650), Baylor (+700) and TCU (+850), who are all expected to vie for the conference crown in 2025.

Folsom Field (Colorado) is the most Instagrammable Big 12 stadium for 2025, with a total score of 172.
Folsom Field’s stunning Rocky Mountain backdrop and Ralphie the Buffalo’s pregame run create iconic photo opportunities. Nippert Stadium’s historic charm, compact design, and vibrant urban atmosphere make it visually striking for Instagram.
The 2025 rankings, led by the Folsom Field and followed by Nippert Stadium, use a scoring system based on visual aesthetics (e.g., stadium design), setting (e.g., campus/location views), social media engagement, and unique photo ops.
