Where Do the Cardinals Rank in the NFC Wild-Card Race?

There was no wild-card path for the Cardinals. They did not make it in the postseason in 2023.

Can the Cardinals Get the No. 1 Seed? Any Seed?

There was no seed for the Cardinals, who failed to make the playoffs in 2023.

Who to Root for if You’re a Cardinals Fan

Cardinals fans generally root against NFC West teams, including the Rams, Seahawks and 49ers. Additionally, you'll want to root against teams that stand in the way of Arizona obtaining a playoff seed.

Cardinals Postseason Outlook and Predictions

While the Cardinals were officially eliminated in December, the truth is the outcome was decided over the offseason when the front office essentially tore things down in order to build it back up, hopefully better.

Playing hard, being well coached and setting things up for a better '24 is the goal. Head coach Jonathan Gannon is looking to instill a culture that will carry the team as it attempts to improve its roster over the coming offseason. Getting a better feel for what the team has in Kyler Murray as barrels toward another top draft pick is of great importance, too. At this point in the season we really don't know whether or not Gannon has what it takes or Murray is the guy to lead the team into the future. It's not ideal, but it's reality.
