Hard Rock Sportsbook, Bally’s, Betway Join Arizona Sports Betting Market

The final three licensed Arizona betting apps launched with limited fanfare this week.

Hard Rock Sportsbook, Bally Bet Arizona and Betway each became operational in some fashion, bringing all 18 operators originally licensed by the Arizona Department of Gaming into the market. Licensed Arizona sportsbooks had until March 8 to launch mobile operations in accordance with the ADG’s 180-day deadline from the Sept. 9 launch date.

Betfred Sportsbook Arizona, Golden Nugget, and Kambi Group became sites 13 through 15 to launch. Those launches, all with little publicity, happened since the first of the year.

Hard Rock Announces Launch on Social Media

Hard Rock Sportsbook, which recently partnered with the Navajo Nation, announced an early access launch on social media Tuesday.

The Hard Rock is advertising apps for Apple and Android, but does not have its desktop website operational.

”Hard Rock Sportsbook went live in Arizona this morning for an early access launch of a brand new version of our mobile app,” a spokesperson for Hard Rock Digital told BetArizona.com on Tuesday. “We look forward to our Arizona Grand Opening, which will be announced at a later date.”

Bally Bet, Betway Also Online

Bally Bet Arizona is partnered with the Phoenix Mercury, while Digital Gaming/Betway is partnered with the San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe.

The Bally Bet website says the company has an Android app available for download in Arizona, but has yet to launch its Apple app or its website. Bally Bet is operational in Colorado, Iowa, Indiana and Virginia, and has been licensed in the New York market.

Betway, which also has operations in Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, has launched its website but does not have its Apple app available in Arizona. Betway is the U.S. sports betting and iGaming brand for Digital Gaming.
